Angela began her journey in Gainesville, FL by attending the University of Florida, where she graduated with honors. She received a bachelors degree in Women’s Studies and English, and she is currently pursing a masters degree in Women’s Studies at the University of Florida. Her scholarly interests are rooted in the sociological impacts of pelvic organ prolapse after birth, and she uses her experience as a doula to contextualize her research.
She received her birth doula training through DONA International, and has centered her care philosophy around connection. She is passionate about reproductive justice, evidence-based practices, and unconditional compassionate care for all of her clients. Whether it's your first baby or your fourth, she’s honored to walk beside you on your unique journey to parenthood.
